Spring Break Abroad

Before spring break, the week became a little hectic because of midterm exams. It took some time to refocus, study, and prepare for each of my classes, especially while balancing the excitement of being abroad. Even though it was stressful at first, I was able to get organized and give myself enough time to review everything I needed. Overall, I felt that my midterms went really well, which made starting spring break feel even more rewarding.

For spring break, we decided to travel by train and spend the week exploring more of Italy. I stopped by Pisa and got to see the Leaning Tower, which was such a fun and iconic experience. After that, I visited Cinque Terre, which was one of the most beautiful places I have seen during my time abroad. Staying in the area that inspired the Disney movie Luca made the trip feel even more special because the colorful buildings, ocean views, and small coastal towns looked almost unreal in person. Even though it was still pretty cold, Cinque Terre was peaceful, beautiful, and a perfect place to slow down after a busy exam week.
